A graphic floral pop art painting of a magenta magnolia flower in spring. I've spent a some lovely days taking photographs of these magnificent flowers in The Savill Garden, Windsor. They are a real tonic and signal an end to winter. Beautifully feminine, full of scent and truly stunning.

Working from the original photo image I painted this using a limited tonal pallete, shades of magenta and complimentary greys. This original work of art really jumps out with a huge wow factor, the tones are perfect for creating a highlight within a modern interior.
