A large painting of the view from the South bank of the Thames in front of the Tate Gallery, showing St Paul's Cathedral and Blackfriars. The Southbank has some great views of London and is one of my favourite places to walk taking some of London's most iconic buildings.

Working from one of my photographic images, using a tonal popart style, creates a striking piece bringing the urban cityscape to your living space and a little piece of iconic London for those that love this great city.

Painting on an mdf panel is a lovely experience, it gives a smooth surface to work on and with batons on the reverse side it raises it away from the wall slightly creating a shadow effect.
