Making Art Personal

By merging two photographic images I created a commissioned painting showing two girls, going for a walk on Parliament Hill London.

The client supplied me with a photo their children holding hands which was lovely but didn't have enough of the London Skyline in the background. We agreed that showing the view from Hampstead Heath across the London cityscape was important to this piece and so I took one of my images with London showing more prominantly and combined it with their original photo.

Working from this I created a painting which had all the elements in a colour palette to suit their interior and a size to compliment their space perfectly. A highly personalised piece of art which was very special to them. It demonstrates what is possible.
