Part of a series of paintings exploring the Human Spirit. At the start of this decade there are many things and phrases we had never heard of, and trials to come which we weren't aware of. Covid, social distancing, mask mandates, LFT's, PCR tests, R-Number, death rates, Inflation, cost of living, home schooling, Zoom calls, furlough, Ukraine.... the list is endless. Despite these setbacks and challenges we are continuing to carry on and adapt, still a work in progress but testament to the Human Spirit. If you had to describe the first years of this decade to someone in the future, it might be adviseable just to say.... It was complicated. You can assign your own reasons as to the meaning of this whatever they are it is a wonderful highlight and talking point for a feature wall, perhaps above a bed or sofa, especially in a modern minimalist interior.
