A large floral painting of a magnolia flowering in spring. These white flowers are always a cheery sight at the beginning of the year. Spring is such a beautiful time of year full of freshness and new growth after the winter darkness. These flowers fill the Savill Garden near where I live with a beautiful perfume and the sight of them is a sign that nature is waking up.

I painted this using a limited tonal pallete, cream and pale pastels on a grey background, to compliment the subtle matte greys of the modern interior. It really is a stunning work of floral art that will light up any room. A fantastic focal point for any modern interior
